Keywords:
Islamic Education, Intellectual Growth, Ethical Decision MakingAbstract
This study aims to examine the impact of Islamic educational values on the intellectual growth of Muslim youth, focusing on how these values influence critical thinking, creativity, and ethical decision-making. The research utilizes a qualitative approach, employing in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) to gather data from Muslim youth aged 18-30 who have received formal or informal Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic educational values play a crucial role in fostering critical thinking and independent reasoning (ijtihad), promoting creativity through the concept of stewardship (khalifah), and guiding ethical decision making through principles of justice, integrity, and compassion. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of integrating Islamic values into intellectual development, suggesting that these values not only enhance cognitive abilities but also contribute to the moral and social responsibility of youth.References
